It’s definitely been an exciting start to 2016 for In Hand Health.
This week, we issued a press release formally announcing the availability of our telehealth solution for physical therapy. We have several regional clinics on board and invite any PT or clinic to open a free account at our website at any time.
To summarize, our solution connects PTs and patients between sessions to promote better outcomes faster while also providing an additional revenue stream for physical therapy practices.
A quote of note in the release:
“The In Hand Health solution gives my clinic’s PTs unique insight into our patients’ exercise habits outside of our office. We are now able to determine the patients who are at risk of falling behind in their rehab and offer encouragement or adjust their home exercise program before they see us again in the office.” – Michael Woodward, MPT and Owner of Blue Ridge Physical Therapy in Independence, MO
“Changes in the healthcare landscape have resulted in lower reimbursements for physical therapists, and clinics are also losing revenues from patients who cannot complete their plans of care because of rising insurance copays and deductibles. The In Hand Health solution provides a unique approach for both sides in this situation. A patient who might otherwise not complete physical therapy can use our service at a fraction of the cost of most copays while it also provides clinics a connection and revenues from a patient who they might otherwise never see.” – Michael Novosel, VP Sales of In Hand Health
The release includes more details about our solution’s video-based home exercise program, exercise compliance monitoring of at-home patients, HIPAA-secure messaging, and other features.
Reminder: It is free for PTs and clinics. With a small time investment (no out-of-pocket costs) to learn the drag-and-drop tools, clinics can offer In Hand Health as a revenue generating service by way of a monthly or annual subscription to patients.
